At Profile Development and Training we pride ourselves on being an inclusive workplace and making ourselves available for the needs required of all individuals no matter what their requirements. We want to make sure that we support all learners no matter what their requirements are.
In a previous post we spoke about the fact that we are a “Disability Confident Employer”.
We are also very proud to support the Purple Tuesday organisation which is “an international call to action, focused on changing the customer experience for disabled people.” Although geared towards to the customer services sector, we want to bring this into a sector required for the development of skills and personal development for disabled people.
We are constantly looking how to make our learner journey more accessible for all our learners, where that be through:
- Online Learning (so there is no need to leave your computer in order to complete our level 2 courses)
- We are working on the introduction of electronic paperwork (so those that struggle with writing can do this on their phone, tablet or pc)
- We work with national and local organisations so we can help provide additional funding and support for our apprenticeships.
We are happy with what we have managed so far, but we know that there is always more that we can do and that is why we are always looking to see what else we can do to aid the learner through whichever course we offer them.
