Supporting Teaching and Learning

All staff working in a school setting should be sufficiently trained to provide the learning and development needs of the children and young people they support. Whether it is working in an early-years setting, primary or secondary education the need to have appropriately trained staff is key to meeting government requirements and running a successful setting.

Profile offers training for those who already volunteer or wish to start a career as a Teaching Assistant, as well developing the skills and knowledge of existing staff.

Once you are qualified you will have the knowledge, understanding and skills in topics such as; promoting positive behaviour, supporting learning activities, understating child development, which will ensure you will be an effective member of the school and a positive influence on the children.

Our suite of Supporting Teaching and Learning qualifications offer valuable transferable skills enabling you to work in any education sector. It is an excellent starting point to move into management or teacher training once you gain more experience.

We offer Level 3 qualifications so you can develop your career and gain an accredited qualification in this sector. This training may attract funding through an Advanced Learner Loan. Please contact us for further information.
