Blended Learning Level 3 Courses

Profile are specialist in the upskilling of those working in, or those that wish to work in, the education and training and early years sectors. We have 3 courses on offer, all of which are a blend of online learning, paperwork portfolios and workplace observations. In order to achieve the qualifications, you will need to be either working or volunteering in a school or early years setting.

NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning

This qualification provides learners with an understanding of the knowledge needed when working directly with children and young people in a school or college environment. It will enable learners to gain an understanding of elements including children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare, and communication and professional relationships.

NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning

This qualification provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school and college environments. It covers all aspects of specialist support including planning, delivering and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher; bilingual support; special needs support; and personal development and reflective practice.

TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator

Designed for learners who work, or wish to work, with children from birth to 5 years old in a variety of settings. The qualification prepares learners for employment as Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. It develops the knowledge and skills required to work with children from birth to 5 years together with an understanding of the expected development of children aged 5 to 7 years. The qualification also provides opportunities for the confirmation of competence for learners working towards Early Years Educator status.

Funding

If you are aged 19+ and are eligible for public funding, then you can fund these courses via the Advanced Learner Loan, with the course costs listed below:

• NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning £1417
• NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning £2225
• TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator £2882
• Please note that the level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator can also be funded via the National Skills Fund, but we are not able to access that funding.
